"the pony farm"

i went to holland yesterday to my friend becky's (woodenshoestamper on udi) for a stamp camp to make an adorable plate decoration. (you can check it out on her blog listed in the right column of my favorites.

she lives on a farm with a boatload (ha) of animals. it was so fun to see them up close and personal and i had such fun taking pictures of them.

this little guy followed me all the way down the fence as i went to see the other sheep.

here is my new friend with "baabaa" black sheep. (sorry becky) i think my little friend was a bit jealous and had to nose her way into the picture.

the bunnies were rather skittish and ran behind their box. i did manage to get this mama and baby though. aren't they adorable?

the following animals were inside the barn. they were so sweet and just seemed poised and ready to have their picture taken.

i love his little goatee. =)) sorry, couldn't resist that one.

now sure how old this calf is, but he was so cute.

and when i came back from checking out the noisy roosters he was up and eating.

here is wilbur the pig. he wasn't very cooperative for the camera and i'm lucky to have even gotten this shot. i love the rusty color of him instead of black or dirty white.

why is it that roosters always look so mean? maybe it's their beady little eyes. i'm just glad they were in the cage.

not a great picture, but i didn't want to leave eeyore out. he was very gentle.

instead of three blind mice, i have three black sheep.

this little guy was so curious peeking out from his little area.

the horses were beautiful. this first one was so sweet and let me pet his nose. the second one wasn't quite sure about wanting a stranger touching him though.

back outside on the way to my car these big! horses were enjoying the gorgeous warm fall day and having a bit of a snack.

thank you becky for a much needed relaxing and enjoyable day. xoxo

Aren't the animals on the farm the greatest! I think it's the perfect place for my grandchildren to be growing... that is, if they can't be in New Jersey!

Hey, I need to do a better job on my proofreading. It should say "the perfect place for them to be growing up..."
