happy easter. i'm done. here is my last peep for this season. i can't wait until next year to make some more.
i felt the pressure today since i've been doing my peeps for several weeks and y'all seem to be enjoying them. i knew i had to come up with a good for the last one and i think (and i hope you do too) that it came out nice. though why i always try and weave dsp/cs is beyond me cuz i always have issues with it. i preservered today though because that is truly what i wanted to do for my card. for the right side strip i just scored three lines. i thought anything else would take away from my background.
thanx for checking out all my peeps. take a look back and let me know which one is your favorite one. ya never know, sometimes they end up in someone's mailbox.
please head on over to see what adriana has made for you. :)

Okay, I know in the beginning I said I wasn't fond of Peeps, the candy, but over the past couple of weeks, I've begun to look forward to seeing your newest Peeps, the card family, version. Please post soon! ;)
Hurry up then! I, too, can't wait to see your latest peep creation!
Hugs!
:-( I want to see too!
Super cute! Love it. Have a wonderful Easter! xoxoxoxo
I love all your Peeps, but I'd really like to know how you did the weaving!
OMG! He has a little argyle shell! How CUTE is THAT?? I love it! Well worth waiting for!
the weave was done 'very carefully.' :$
i started with a base of cs with dotto run around the outside. i cut the strips and placed the wide ones side by side. with the narrow strips i 'wove' them in and out. (the dotto makes it easy to lift the wide strips up) i had to redo them a couple of times because my brain could not process the 'up' 'down' and their need to be opposite. :) once it was done i trimmed around the cs and tacked down the loose ends. voila!
as i said, i've tried this numerous times and got frustrated each time. i'm glad i held out because i do like how he came out.
happy easter. :)
