i almost did it . . .

i was going to try and submit some of my work to stampin' up! for their annual artisan award.

i previously posted two of my cards though you didn't know that's what they were for. here are two more that i was going to use.

the background and envelope both have the texturz plates from the big shot.















i love this card. i used markers on the tree to give it multiple fall colors with more leaves falling off of it. i wasn't sure about the rose red, but it seems to work as an accent with the leaves.















i will post my "scrap" pages i did later. these are the reason i did not send my work into stampin' up! i seem to be extremely scrap challenged. i was even given some expert advice by brenda weaver, one of our own utah divas, who is a 2008-2009 artisan award winner. (thank you brenda for all of your help and input.)

i'll have to practice and keep working at it. maybe i'll be better by next year and will make a submission then.
