diva inspiration challenge

hi. this week is flying by for me. where did the first few days go? i had a lovely weekend in chicago watching my son graduate from DePaul University. i was beaming for several days. not to get off course, but i have to share a picture of him. even he can't help but smile. :) see below for my card.

this week's card is some pretty white flowers with yellow centers and lovely greenery surrounding them. i took it literally today. (click here to go to udi and see the picture) i inked up the flower with white craft ink, colored the yellow and green on with markers and ink pads and then stamped. i then added clear embossing powder to the white. it had partially dried and so it left spots of ep when i heated it. i almost like it more than if the entire flower petals were embossed. just gives it a wee bit of texture. i slid the ribbon between the punch holes for something a little different. i also sponged the yellow on lightly around and on the petals. click on the picture to get an enlarged view.
