diva sketch challenge

it's a holiday weekend here in the us of a. chip and i don't really care to travel much during the holiday weekends. too much traffic since we would be going over to illinois and have to drive through chicago . . . so we stay home. hope you're enjoying it no matter what you're doing.

please check out this week's sketch on udi. i took a certain amount of creative license this weeken and tweeked my card.

i used the top note and put it on an angle instead of a diamond shape like on the sketch. i also ran the black pieces through the texturz plates for the big shot. if you click on the picture it will enlarge and you might see it.

i think my black ink pad is one of the few that actually stamps out a very very dark purple. it is so wacky. i'm not going to replace it though because i very seldom use black.

i wasn't able to place a preorder from the new 2010-2011 catalog until the last day of june, so hopefully next week i can show you some of our new color line. it rocks the stampin' world. i was able to get some card stock and inks, but not much else. i may have to 'borrow' some of my friends' stamps to do cards for a while.

as i said, enjoy your weekend. in the meantime, go see what Adriana has made for you.

I like how you used the top note instead of the diamond! You're right about the new colors...they do rock!
