well, i have begun my travels today. the journey will end in rockford illinois, where i grew up. we will spend the pm there and then end up to minnesota for my niece's wedding. it's going to be a fun weekend. my brothers and sisters and i run the gammit across the country from michigan to hawaii. my nieces and nephews are from minnesota to georgia, illinois to arizona. kind of cool, huh?

maria found a beautiful christmas tree for us to be inspired with today on udi. of course, my vision went in a different direction. i thought i had a particular stamp set, but couldn't find it until after! i changed my mind and went with this one. story of my life. anyway, the colors are perfect with her picture. artichoke and riding hood red. you cannot tell from this picture but the cardinal head is raised up with a couple of glue dots.

i'm sorry i don't have any new stuff to show you. my very tight budget hasn't allowed me to purchase anything but the card stock multi packs and new basic stamp pads. hopefully soon i can entertain you with something else though.

while i'm off to the great north some of the other divas are in salt lake city for the annual SU! convention. had i been able to go i would have made the ten year walk across the stage as a demo. :( maybe for my fifteen year. have a good one.
