maria's picture on udi for the inspiration challenge is just beautiful. hot air balloons are one of my favorite things. if you've never been up in one i highly recommend it. it is such a rush. the quiet beauty of floating above the earth and looking down to see God's creation.
i was fortunate to go up several times while i was in college. i worked an annual rally and i was an observer. an observer has to make sure that the pilot follows the rules for each of the tasks when competing. the first time the pilot asked me to go up i thought i was in heaven. that was a long long time ago. :)
