summer has arrived

we have hit our first 90 degree day and they are expected to continue for the next week. the heat index is already unbearable and we're only in early june. help!

i was running around today and on the way home i go by a horse farm. well, the excitement every spring is to see the new babies that are born. they are so stinkin' cute with their little spindly legs and short little tails. they never stray far from mama, but every now and then they get a burst of energy and start running circles.

today, all of the mamas and babies were up near the road and wouldn't ya know it, i didn't have my camera. i let the neighbors use it for their (2) son's graduation tonight.

there was also the cutest little red fox sitting by the fence. i slowed, stopped and watched him for a few seconds until he decided he didn't like being stared at and ran into the weeds by the horses. i hope he didn't spook them.
i know y'all are waiting for my stamping images to ooohhh and aaahhh over. haha. i am trying to find some older stamping so you can see the evolution of my journey. it may take a few more days to find them, but eventually they'll turn up, so keep checking back.
xoxox. stay cool. :)
