crazy for containers

for my stampin' sister, selene, i was on a roll making containers of various sorts. so without further ado here are my pictures.

the blue box is a "peek a boo" box. when you lift the lid there is a window and you get to see the chocolate inside. the rose red box is called an "explosion" box. when the lid comes off the sides all pop out . . . again filled with chocolate.

here is a closer look at the "peek a boo" box. there is less of a glare on this picture. i think it is so stinkin' cute.

my next container is a triangle box made with apricot appeal. it is so easy to make and so adorable.

this night of navy box is two overlapping circles. you then create "moons" on the remaining sides and score everything. i decorated this box with chalk resist, though i didn't think the images would come out as light as they did, though i kind of like the subtle effect.

i'm sure alot of you has seen what is referred to as "witches shoes." these are so easy to make and can also be used at a table for a name plate or treats.

my last project for right now is from jan tink's stamps, paper, scissors blog. i absolutely love it! hers was done with the carousel notes from the occasions mini. i did not have any of those so i improvised with some 6 x 6 vellum envelopes and went from there. don't cha just love it!

have a safe holiday weekend. :)
