i'm thinkin' they're getting better

what do you think?

this simple little set was a sell-a-bration set some years back. i just loved how quick and easy you could make a card with it.

have you heard or has anyone ever told you that odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye than even numbers? take a look around you and see if it isn't true. look at an appetizer plate the next time you're in a restaurant. try it out sometime when you're making something and see what you think.

my little under the sea creation was actually featured on one of the many display boards at convention one year. i just love this little jelly fish guy. i think this may have even been the year that there were about six of my cards that had been sent in to Stampin' Up! that were on the boards. it is so weird and a rush at the same time to know that several thousand people may be looking at one of your creations and possibly taking a picture of it for their archives.

the next two cards were hostess preorders if i remember correctly. they also became my convention swaps that year. the turquoise card was stamped and then spritzed with water to give it a little different look. notice again that i used that diagonal cut design from before.

i loved the apricot/eggplant color combination when it came out. this was a sample card i had made. the actual message on the bottom of the card was something different.

simple, easy, quick is this next card . . . and some crappy watercoloring. man, did i really do that? yikes.

i think this card is older than the rest of these featured. there's that corner punch again. again, bad watercoloring, but cool micro beads (before Stampin' Up! carried them.)

my last post for today is a little frame we made at one of our stamp camps. this set was again a sell-a-bration set. again a quick and easy project.
