this first card was done with a brayer. i use to use it alot. now i hardly use it ever. i also like to try different things with ribbon, thus the funky twist on the top.
i love this next card. it was one of my convention swaps for the fifteenth anniversary of Stampin' Up! convention was in vegas that year and i wanted to tie together the anniversary and location; both of them being so full of energy. so what could be better than a little gambling and a little glitz.
i love this little bicycle set. it was in a mini catalog and never got it's chance it the big catty. :(
anyway, i did use it for a swap for one of my upline meetings. i was even so creative that i used a brad and dimensionals to make the large wheel turn around. how cool is that?!
i remember these next two cards as being swaps for convention. unfortunately, i did not put dates on the cards until about two years ago. anyway, i loved the harlequin background and like using it for this particular style. i found the baby star fish in rockford on one of my visits to my mom and bought a bunch of them. i love the simplicity and soft creamy caramel color on the confetti card stock.
the second card is also one of my favorites. maybe because my gramma use to love elephants and collect them. i used the canvas background (that's been around for quite some time now) and then stamped the elephants. i used the coordinating wheel for the strip with the greeting on it and tied together the black ink from the greeting with our black gingham ribbon. simple, yet sweet.
