diva inspiration challenge 8

this is my second divaic for the month of september. here is the link and "inspiration" for this week:

http://utahdivasinternational.blogspot.com/2008/09/thursday-inspiration-challenge.html

rather primitive at best, but i didn't have everything i wanted to use so i improvised. i used shimmer card stock and "wove" it basket style to match the cake. (when chip and i got married our wedding cake was woven like a basket with edible flowers on it.) i added flowers and half pearls from the pretties kit. the riding hood red card stock is "scrunched" and then i pulled the versamark pad over it for the water mark. i wanted the flowers to appear as if they were being poured out of the vase onto the cake.

if you haven't tried one of these challenges you should. there is a chance at the end of the month to win free stamps for participating each week during september.

cheers ~

Very cute!!! Improvising is a challenge at times, but yours doesn't look improvised at all, it looks great!!

Wow Carol! You put a lot of work into this card!! I love your background! I would have never thought of scrunching it and then adding VersaMark to it...... very clever ;)
